While, cPanel/WHM can be installed on a local computer, it’s typically meant to be installed on a server that has open access for serving content to the public/internet. Additionally, the local computer must meet all of the system requirements listed in the documentation link provided.

The main things to consider are that it needs to be a fresh/clean install of CentOS/RHEL with enough disk space and network access with a dedicated IP address. Most local (non-business) environments do not have dedicated IP addresses. (Please be sure to review the entire list of system requirements).

Yes, all new cPanel installations are provided with a 15 day trial.

可能会比较耗时。

内蒙古网友:约2个半小时，提示失败，因为无法安装mysql。之后再次尝试安装，提示不是“纯净”的系统了。需要再来一次吗？
